  1. How do you clean mold?

You would want to test the mold before attempting any cleanup. We advise that you don't attempt the cleanup of toxic mold. Our home test kit will allow you to test inexpensively. After you received your results from your home test kit you can call us for a consultation. We can advise you on cleanup and answer your questions.

  1. I am a renter and have a mold problem, can you make my landlord check or test my apartment?

No. If you believe you have a mold problem, you can test, inexpensively, with our home mold test kit to gather evidence of your problem or contact us for an inspection by one of our certified inspectors.

  1. I am buying a new home. Do I need an inspection?

A mold inspection is recommend for every new home purchase. The mold inspection is different from a home inspection. The mold inspection is designed to find not only mold, but equally important, any sources that could potentially cause mold (sources of water intrusions, excessive moisture and/or humidity).

  1. Can mold growing outside get into my home?

There is always mold outdoors. Your best defense against mold in your home is to check regularly for plumbing leaks and water intrusions. Use dehumidifiers and/or air conditioning during the hot/humid seasons to decrease the humidity in the home.

  1. I have a musty or strange smell and I don't see mold growing anywhere what do I do?

You can test the air in your home inexpensively with our home mold test kit to determine if you have a mold problem. If the test indicates a problem, then a mold inspection is recommend. If the test doesn't indicate a problem, then you have successfully eliminated mold as a potential source of the problem.

  1. If I have a toxic mold do I need to move out of my house?

If the toxic mold is localized to a specific room, the room can sometimes be sealed off. If the mold is prevalent throughout the home than moving out is advised until the problem is rectified.

  1. If I have a toxic mold do I need to throw out all my belongings?

  1. I think my work place has a mold problem. What can I do?

  1. Why do I need an inspection if I already know where the mold is?
